A few weeks ago I indulged in a girls weekend in my own city Sydney. On the Friday morning I public transported it to the airport to meet my sister and family friend who were flying in form Melbourne. Upon meeting them we walked to the Taxi rank to begin our adventure to stay in Wollstonecraft with a friend and her flatmate. After meets and greets we then ventured into the city for a few shopping expedition, for the Melbournites. Then we made our way to The Langham for an indulgent high tea with the works, champagne, great food, fab company and tea, of course.
The delicacies were amazing and i enjoyed every little morsel, except the seafood bites. I am not a seafood fan at all.
after filling our bellies, relaxing and chatting we left to walk our way around the city, exploring new places, making our way into the spectacular harbour that Sydney is well known for. Stopping at The Hilton for a champagne and then walking along as the sun settled and the full moon rose.
Making our way to the Opera Bar where we indulged in more champagne and a fabulous cheese platter. I highly recommend the lemon myrtle cheese, oh it is to die for and wickedly indulgent.
The four of us made our way back to Wollstonecraft for another glass of bubbly and a move.
Saturday morning was another day of walking to breakfast at the Botanica Garden Cafe, a small family owned business with awesome customer service. Coffee, Juice and Oats were the order of the day for me.
A perfect weekend for indulging, celebrating with fine food and glorious weather and lovely ladies.
