Happy News | A NEW PRINCE

Wouldn't Princess Diana be so proud right now? I have a sense of melancholy for the Duke of Cambridge that his mother is not here to celebrate.  

It is a Boy! Everyone has been waiting on the impending birth who arrived at 4.24pm London time after around 10 hours labour. The little bundle weighing in at 8lbs 6oz. Third in line to the throne. Now to wait for the announcement to what his name will be.

ELATED MUCH baby girl arrival

I am a proud Nana again to a beautiful little girl Ivy Clare who was born yesterday to my step son and his gorgeous partner. I am so happy and glad that she is here after a not so easy pregnancy. What started off a not so easy pregnancy with loads of genetic testing and other procedures in the first few months of the pregnancy, and then a few months of elation to be on bed rest with placenta previa the mother is doing so well and I cannot wait to see the new little family on Monday. 

The elation I felt after receiving the text message yesterday afternoon on the arrival of lovely Ivy Clare (after grandmother who passed away 13 years ago) was very overwhelming and the instant love you feel is just so unexplainable. She is just perfection. 

So excitedly today my beautiful daughters and I get to go and buy some girly things for our new little family member and something special for the new parents.
