Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up to Glamour magazine about her family life. The actresses explained how having children has turned her world upside down and also touched on her troubles with heartache in the past. "Having children changed everything," she told the mag. "I used to work all the time, but if you do that, you don’t see your kids, so I look for something that’s interesting, that doesn’t require me to be in every scene and fits in with my children’s school schedule."
"Having children is a huge responsibility in terms of raising people who will contribute to the world," she added. "The people I’ve met who function best in the world are people with good manners, who are curious, who know different places and speak more than one language. So that’s what I’m trying to do."
On her marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin she said, "It’s hard being married. You go through great times, you go through terrible times. We’re the same as any couple... I’ve learned more about myself by being married than anything else. I hate to say, ‘We’ve got it worked out,’ because you never know what’s going to happen, but we laugh, we’re good friends, we like to do the same stuff.”
