AUTUMN / WINTER DECOR | CHUNKY KNIT THROW

As the weather cools I have high anticipation to create a blanket either by crocheting or knitting. Yet I have started to crochet so many times and I have given up. I quite enjoy knitting although I have not done so for a long time. I think the last item I knitted was a scarf.

Enter the chunky knit lust - I am in awe. I just have to have one. I have been scouring the internet trying to find one I love.

Tuesday was wash day for all our bedding. There is a happy feeling when you crawl into bed with clean, fresh and sun kissed linen. After making my bed, it had me thinking that everyone has different styles and routines to keeping there linen clean, and on high turnover, especially the summer months when the nights are balmy and warm. Everyone has their own knack on how they like to make and dress their beds. Here is where I share mine.

As many of you, my lovely readers, may already know that we have have just purchased new beds for both my daughters from IKEA. At the moment they have basic linen for their beds and I am looking for something fabulous for my daughters to make it more them and to suit their individual tastes.
