On Saturday morning my eldest daughter and I travelled into the city by train, we caught up with the goings on over the last week, which then brought us to discuss her childhood memories. One that resonated with me the most was the fact that each time I bought my daughter's into the city, I was creating a childhood memory for them. When they were younger, I bought them into the city often. I started a ritual of buying them nutella pancakes topped with strawberries and icecream and then taking them up to the MYER book and toy department where they played and read for a while, finding a favourite book for then to take home.
Saturday the 14th November, I was invited by MYER and Kids Business to attend the Myer Giftorium launch with Kris Smith. A spectacular place to be filled with gifts and activities galore. A great way to build special christmas memories with your children.
